First Church of God, Effingham

Our Small Group Ministry

Small Groups Really Do Make A BIGdifference !

What kind of H.O.M.E. is available?

H.O.M.E. groups are a small group ministry of the First Church of God where people gather in Christ’s name and really care for one another. It’s belonging and being loved by others. It’s being accepted where you are and giving acceptance to other people who come into the circle.

Does this H.O.M.E. have enough room ?

H.O.M.E. groups generally average around ten to twelve people. The home setting is relaxed and informal. There is always an empty chair for one more new friend.

Can I afford a new H.O.M.E. ?

Yes! All it takes is one hour each week. In that hour you will have the opportunity to experience fellowship with others and learn how to apply the Bible to everyday situations. You will also meet people who will remember you in prayer.

At no time will you be put "on the spot" to talk, pray, or read out loud. People participate from their own comfort level and personality.

Where will my new H.O.M.E. be located ?

H.O.M.E. groups are located in people’s homes throughout the area. We have groups which meet at different times and on different days of the week.
